Privacy Policy

WalkDB does not record or process any personal information (real names, email addresses, etc.). To use WalkDB to create a route, you will need a Google Account which requires making information available to Google; Google's privacy policies can be found here and here.

All routes that are entered into WalkDB are public. To avoid the inadvertent release of personal information it is recommended not to create routes which identify your home, place of work, etc. (e.g. don't mark a route as being "scenic route home").

Upon first use of WalkDB you are required to provide a nickname, again it is recommended for your privacy that you do not choose a name which uniquely identifies you. The nickname is used for display purposes only.
